MEMOIR: MY LIFE AS A NOVEL

In addition to the fiction and criticism listed in this website, Ralph Freedman has worked on the memoirs of his early life for some years. It is now near completion, beginning with his childhood and adolescence in Hamburg under the Nazi regime and following the path of his emigration to England and his young years in the United States. It ends with his return from overseas service in the US Army at he end of World War II. The tentative working title is “ My Life as a Novel: The Early Years.”
